This is not a good picture of Alice Fox's work you just have to go see it, it's stunning, beautiful detail, textures and shapes, I loved it.

Sarah Harris is young printmaker and I met her on a business course, even in one year I have seen her work evolve, her work is beautiful, she is in the same house as Janis Goodman, so 2 printmakers in one house, with very different styles just lovely, check them out Saltaire Arts Trail, Shirley Street.

I have so much Art and am skint, but I love Janis Goodmans work, I did manage to buy some cards which were like mini prints, prints cut up into tiny works of art at £5- each, one day ill buy a big one, one card had a grave stones on it which appealed to my Gothic side, and those birds, just fabulous.

Friday Crown Day

I do hope the weather improves for Saltaire Arts Trail starting tom, I have got my waterproof jacket ready, it still feels like winter here, meanwhile some art a love.

Monday Colour Mixture.

How can anyone not be inspired by beautiful colours, this is small selection I have selected on this rainy windy Monday, just gets my creative juices flowing, have look on my Pinterest Boards, warning, if you are easily addicted to STUFF then you had better not.

Lazy Lazy Sunday.

I think so therefore I am, stop being silly woman, more or less finished tidying my studio, now for the rest of the house, for to be or not to be put up for sale that is the question, I love this old house and don't really want to leave it, but I must for many reasons.
The Fornasetti face is staring at me, its my favorite image and there sits my necklace made from the very famous image, the necklace part is with my Grans Whitby Jet beads, its telling me to create more, and the peg, well that is a bit random, the tiny silver spoon is for scooping tiny beads from plastic containers, also have to prepare findings and beads etc for a class that I am starting to teach later in the week, basic jewellery techniques, looking forward to it very much, so really its not a lazy Sunday.

Scary Friday

These scary pictures are to honor (she is very much alive) my friend Alison we go back a long way from being 5 years old, we were around 16 years old and every Fri she would come to my house for sleep over, we would watch Hammer House of Horror films, she was always scared so I used to tease her, I was on the top bunk bed and as we were going to sleep I made my hand come down slowly and spoke in a creepy voice, it was mean of me I know but it was funny, thing is she had so much fun with me growing up, for eg I'd find the best hiding places in the youth club and we would win, always we would win.

Saltaire Arts Trial 25th-27th May

Well it is here again, sadly I have not been selected this year, however some of my creations will be in Art Parade at the bottom of Victoria Road, this is a lovely event and I'm going to enjoy going around the houses and Makers Fair for a change, there is a lot of talent, I have chosen a few  makers/artists that I like and know.

Procrastination on a sunny day.

I will remain focused, I will remain focused, repeat after me I WILL remain focused, not untill my house is ready to be put up for sale, will I be able to create more stuff and I NEED to as my head is crowded with fabulous ideas that need to be set free.
